Donovan79 Media is my sole proprietorship, and I am Tommy Donovan. I first started in website design in the summer of 1997 and pretty much was self-taught early on. I took it very seriously and was able to create many websites over the years with my first clientele being actors and stuntmen of film and television in Hollywood. Other clients have included professionals in the public and private sectors, business owners, non-profits, news journalists, professional motorsport drivers...just some of the wide spectrum I have serviced.

My services are web development based-- with a focus in full website design, webmastering (maintaining a site), image & graphics design, and in recent years-- Twitter page design (backgrounds, colors and general layouts). I also have specialized in domain safe-harboring. This typically has involved famous and notable clients who have had their domains taken by third parties for unlawful use. I have been quite successful in that arena-- especially for folks in the music industry. Domain safe-harboring has turned into a personal passion of mine, and I get great satisfaction when I secure back a client's web domain!

In recent years I have taken a considerable step back in doing my services full time. Previously, with a trusted business parter, I ran a web design/hosting firm back in my native Orange County, California for a few years. After a good run I decided to go solo and continue my services at my own pace. In mid-2009 I began to pick up on projects again and I am having tons of fun with it all-- low key, of course!
